The Baron of Mordington who gained the title after purchasing a parcel of land has been denied entry to the House of Lords after a court battle.
Graham Nassau Gordon Senior-Milne believed he had entered nobility after acquiring territory linked to the title but his hopes were dashed when the Queen was advised to reject his application. Lawyers for Mr Senior-Milne said this guidance caused the monarch to perform an “unlawful” act.
